Betty and her ex-husband, Pastor Victor Kanyari, had children together before their divorce.
Notably, the singer found love again and married Hiram Gitau, also known as Tash, with whom she had been living. The children formed a close bond with him.
During a recent sermon at his church, Pastor Kanyari addressed rumors of conflict with Tash.
Contrary to popular belief, he stated that there is no disagreement between them or with Betty's family.
"I have not sat down with Tash or the family and disagreed. If Betty were to resurrect and discover that we are fighting over the children, she would be stunned.
I have no problem with anyone, and there is no bad blood between us.
"I don't want to see anyone criticizing that family," Kanyari stated.
The preacher also advised social media users not to start drama, pointing out that Betty would never have approved of child custody fights
