A dramatic scene in Nigeria has captured the attention of thousands after a group of single women dressed in wedding gowns stormed a church to pray for marriage partners.

The unusual gathering was led by Pastor Faith Song, who anointed the women and prayed for their marital breakthroughs.

The women, all wearing white bridal gowns, passionately prayed for God to send them suitable husbands.

Some were seen weeping, while others lifted their hands in surrender, creating a powerful and emotional atmosphere.

According to Pastor Faith Song, the prayer session was organized to intercede for women who have been longing for marriage but facing delays.

She moved from one lady to another, laying hands on them and declaring that their waiting season was about to end.

“This is a prayer of faith. Marriage is honorable, and these women deserve their chance to be happy and start families of their own,” the pastor said during the event.

The viral video of the church service has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.

Supporters applauded the women for openly seeking divine help, saying it showed humility and strong belief in God.

Others, however, criticized the event, arguing that desperation for marriage should not lead to such dramatic displays.

One online user mocked the group, claiming many of them had wasted their youthful years chasing the wrong men, only to turn to prayer when reality hit.

Another defended them, saying there was nothing wrong with crying out to God for what they truly desired.

“This is about faith. If they believe marriage is their calling, then asking God is the best step,” a supporter wrote.

Despite the criticism, the gathering highlighted how deeply cultural and religious values shape conversations around marriage in many African societies.
