The young man who jumped first — identified as Kariuki Gitonga — managed to land safely. But when Lorna followed, she missed her step and fell from the 12th floor.
The DCI officer testified that this moment was the last time she was seen alive.
Investigators also confirmed that Lorna had taken alcohol before the fall. A toxicology test carried out after her death showed the presence of alcohol in her blood. Officers believe this may have affected her balance and judgment.
Following the incident, seven students were arrested as police tried to piece together what happened. They were:
