President William Ruto drew attention on Friday during a rally in Kisumu after pausing briefly to address problems with the public address system.

The event, held along a busy city road, attracted thousands of supporters from Kisumu and neighboring counties.

As the rally went on, the sound system experienced intermittent glitches, making it difficult for parts of the crowd to hear the President clearly.

Observing the issue, President Ruto stopped his address and approached the sound technicians near the stage to ensure the problem was resolved.

The President appeared focused and engaged as he emphasized the need for clear communication during public events.

He reminded the team that rallies are meant to connect leaders with citizens and that poor sound delivery could weaken that connection.

Supporters had mixed reactions to the moment. Some cheered while the technical team quickly worked to fix the system.

Within a few minutes, the sound improved, allowing the rally to continue without further interruptions.

Once the issue was settled, President Ruto resumed his speech, turning attention back to development issues affecting the region.

He spoke about national projects in progress, strategies for economic recovery, and government plans aimed at improving the livelihoods of citizens.
