In his message, Ngunyi claimed that what the Jubilee Party allegedly did to former Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni by removing him as the party SG could also happen to Matiang’i if he fully trusts the party.
According to Ngunyi, Jubilee has a habit of using political figures when they are useful and abandoning them once their value reduces.
In his statement, Ngunyi narrated that Jeremiah Kioni worked with the Jubilee Party for a long time and remained loyal even during hard political moments.
However, he claimed that after the party finished using him, Kioni was pushed aside and politically weakened. Ngunyi warned that the same treatment awaits Matiang’i, saying that he is already being used as a decoy.
He stated that worse things could happen to him if he continues depending on the party, especially as the 2027 elections draw closer.
Ngunyi went further to explain what he described as Jubilee Party’s long-term political plan. He alleged that in the 2027 General Election, the party will ensure Matiang’i fails politically.
According to him, Jubilee’s real focus is the 2032 elections, where they plan to front former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s brother as their main candidate and make sure he wins.
Ngunyi insisted that he was speaking the truth, not propaganda, warning that Matiang’i’s political future is at risk if he continues to rely on Jubilee Party.
