This is after reports emerged suggesting that he had recently undergone through an incident of gender-based violence, after he was beaten by his long-term lover, renowned actress Dorea Chege.
These reports actually emerged from anonymous sources that disclosed to blogger Edgar Obare the alleged details regarding the incident.
The sources alleged that DJ Dibul had been beaten by Dorea Chege recently, and that was why he had been wearing a mask to conceal the injuries on his face.
"DJ Dibul alipigwa na bibi on Friday, that's why alikuwa na mask vasha" one source said.
"DJ Dibul alipigwa na Dorea that is why hakuenda Thika Vspot na anavaa mask since then. Hubby ni beste ya Dibul" another source said.
DJ Dibul addresses the speculations
On Monday, the 17th of October however, DJ Dibul finally broke his silence, and addressed the reports that had suggested that he was beaten by his lover Dorea Chege.
According to the talented spinsmaster the reports are false because he is currently doing okay.
"Siku hizi unaingia online unapata unatrend na hujui 😂.
