The family of the late gospel singer Bayo has finally announced the date and place where she will be laid to rest, ending days of speculation and conflicting reports.

Speaking during a service held in her honor at Blue Springs Hotel, the family spokesperson, Elder David Kigomo, shared the decisions that the family has reached after several meetings.

Kigomo explained that Bayo will be buried on Thursday, November 20, next week.

He said the burial will take place at Mugumo Estate along Kiambu Road, on a piece of land that Bayo personally bought some years back.

He emphasized that this land belongs to her, even though some people had earlier claimed the property was jointly owned with her husband, Tash.

According to Kigomo, the family has clear records showing that the land was purchased solely by Bayo.

The family also announced that a memorial service will be held at Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church on Kiambu Road.

This is the church where Bayo worshipped faithfully and served for many years.

Kigomo said the family felt it was important to honor her in a place that held deep meaning in her spiritual journey.

In recent days, social media has been filled with different opinions about where Bayo should be buried.

Some people believed she would be laid to rest at the home of her ex-partner, Pastor Kanayri, while others suggested that she would be buried at her husband Tash’s family home.

These discussions created confusion, and at times even tension among her followers and friends.

However, the family has made it clear that Bayo’s final resting place will be the land she owned at Mugumo Estate.

They urged the public to respect their decision and support them during this painful period.

Kigomo also requested that people avoid spreading false information, saying that the family needs peace as they prepare to give Bayo a dignified farewell.
