Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has reminded Kenyans that Raila Odinga is a unique leader who cannot be copied or replaced by searching for another “Baba” among current politicians.

Speaking openly, she said the mistake many people are making is trying to force every leader into Raila’s image, hoping someone will automatically fill the space he has left in national politics.

Millie explained that Raila’s leadership was shaped by deep personal sacrifice, courage, and a rare connection with the people qualities that cannot simply be transferred or copied.

She said it is unrealistic to expect any leader to rise by imitating Raila or by being pushed to act like him.

According to her, every major political figure in Kenya’s history has emerged naturally, not through pressure or comparisons.

She used the phrase “Juogi will speak,” meaning that the spirit of leadership will guide the process and reveal the right person at the right time.

Millie emphasized that leadership is not something that can be forced by shouting names or demanding quick answers.

Instead, true leadership grows from within communities, through actions, trust, and a strong sense of purpose.

The MP noted that Kenya is going through a period of political change, especially within opposition spaces.

Many people are anxious about the future after Raila’s long and influential journey in politics.

However, she urged citizens and leaders to remain patient and avoid rushing to find a replacement just for the sake of comfort or familiarity.
