Mugithi star Samidoh is once again trending after issuing a humorous response to Mbeere North MP Leonard Wa Muthende, who recently claimed the singer insulted him.

The lawmaker made the allegation during a past interview, saying Samidoh mentioned his name on stage and followed it with unkind remarks.

What Led to the Exchange?

While appearing on Inooro TV, Wa Muthende narrated that he had heard Samidoh mention his name during a performance and then allegedly hurl profanities.

The first-time MP said he was surprised by the incident and was planning to confront the musician to understand the reason behind it.

According to him, he had previously forgiven several people who attacked him online, including former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

However, he insisted that in Samidoh’s case, he wanted clarity, although he emphasized he was not seeking any form of violence.

During a recent show at OJ HQ in Ruiru, Samidoh addressed the issue in his usual playful manner. Instead of making a direct statement, he turned the moment into a freestyle, leaving fans roaring with laughter.

In the improvised lyrics, Samidoh joked about being accused unfairly and assured fans he would visit Mbeere North soon.

He claimed his earlier comments had been misunderstood and cheekily suggested the MP’s name was the source of the confusion.

The performance drew loud cheers as Samidoh repeated the lines, danced jokingly, and continued teasing the MP in a light-hearted way.

Clips from the performance quickly went viral, with fans sharing their amusement across Facebook, TikTok, and X.

Many joked that defending Samidoh was never easy, while others praised his wit and talent for turning tense situations into comedy.

Online reactions included playful comments about his intelligence, his past work in law enforcement, and humorous warnings about how difficult it is to represent him legally.

After being declared the Mbeere North MP, Wa Muthende thanked his supporters and pledged to serve all residents equally.

He emphasized unity and development, promising to work with everyone regardless of their political stand during the election.
